Glenn Walter Gerald Jr., 82 of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away on September 6, 2020. Glenn was born on February 16, 1938, in Portsmouth, Ohio to Glenn Walter Gerald Sr. and Florence E. (Burks) Gerald.
He grew up in Willoughby, Ohio and graduated from Willoughby Union High School in 1956. Glenn proudly served in the United States Air Force. He attended The Ohio State University to study Entomology.
Glenn will be deeply missed by his wife June Messenger, children Angela (Lawrence) Ferraris and Erica (Raymond) Clark, grandchildren Kala (Malachi) Ankrom and Betsy Clark, great-grandson Jaxson Ankrom, siblings to the late Thomas (Mary) Gerald, Richard (Jane) Gerald, Jane (Joe) Yuhasz, Bettie (Michael) Costa, and Bonnie (Michael) Rompala, stepchildren Veronica Plain, Kenneth Messenger Jr., great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 1pm until the time of service at 3pm at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus, OH.
