Gordon Anthony Ziebel Sr., 85, of New Albany, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 at his residence.
He was born August 11, 1931 in Chicago, IL, son of the late Anthony and Frances Lillian Beckmeyer Ziebel.
Gordon was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Ziebel and sister, Dorothy Peters.
He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Cleo J. Savary Ziebel; sons, Tony Ziebel and Adam (Anna C.) Ziebel; grandsons, Zachary Ziebel and Sean M. Warren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM.
Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Less Feldick Ministries, 30706 W. Lona Valley Rd. Kinta, OK 14552.
