Gregory Cockburn, 52, of Gahanna, passed away suddenly Saturday, September 16, 2017.
He was born July 10, 1965 in Canada to Robert and Judith (Reynolds) Cockburn. He became a citizen of the United States when he was 18. He, like his dad, loved flying and received his pilots license. Later he ran his own construction company making beautiful decks. He loved animals and had many dogs and cats over the years.
Gregory is survived by his son Robert John, his mother Judith Cockburn, younger sister Patricia (Ralph) Scott, ex wife Cherie and many nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
Gregory was preceded in death by his father Robert John Cockburn.
Visitation will be Monday, September 25, 2017, from 5pm to 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus with Memorial services to follow at 7pm.
In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the relief and organization for the Florida and Texas hurricane victims.
