Gregory Alan Gorham, affectionately known as "Greg," passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, at Pickerington Methodist Hospital. Born on April 14, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, Greg's journey through life was marked by warmth, passion, and a deep love for those around him.
Greg lived his life embracing the simple joys that brought him happiness. He cherished every moment spent with family and friends, creating memories that will forever be treasured. An avid fan of boxing, Greg found excitement and inspiration in the sport’s intensity and spirit. His enthusiasm extended to his passion for old cars, where he delighted in the beauty and history each vehicle held.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Grayce R. Cain, and his son, Shaff J. Gorham, both of whom carried forward the love and values he held dear. The family eagerly awaits the arrival of a soon-to-be-born grandchild, a new light that will continue Greg’s legacy alongside his surviving grandchildren, Shaff Gorham Jr., Allante Gorham, Alexxus Gorham, and Tyson Gorham; as well as great-grandchildren, Dominique Gorham, Enzo Gorham, Kyrie Gorham, and Scarlett Gorham. His brother Maurice Wilson and a special friend, Macie Crump, also mourn the loss of a beloved companion whose friendship meant the world to him.
Greg was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Grant and Katy Gorham, and brothers Mike Hodges and Nate Gorham. Their memories remain an integral part of the tapestry of his life.
Friends and family are invited to gather in a visitation to honor Greg’s life on June 13, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway in Grove City, Ohio.
