Greta L Paynter

Greta Lou Paynter, age 80 of Columbus, passed away on July 1, 2018 at Bennington Glen. She was born on October 22, 1937 in Ashland, WV. Greta is survived by children Rick Paynter, Mark (Tina) Paynter, Bob (Jan) Paynter, Tim (Joni) Paynter, Cindy Paynter and Tammy (Richard) Lilly, grandchildren Phillip (Donalene), Melissa (Adam), Michelle, Jennifer (Dustin), Josh, Shannon (Tim), Brian, Shawn (Sarah), Megan (Jacob), Tiffany (Vince), Ricky (Sheena) and Ryan, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, siblings Cecil (Theresa) Moran, Ron Moran, Jean Bailey and Diane (Rodney) Topping, adopted family Stephanie and June Davis, and all her church family at Crossroads Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by grandchild Greg Paynter, father Cecil H. Moran, mother Hester Strunk, step father Alvin Strunk, siblings Harold (Chuck) Moran, Darrell Moran, Bobby Moran, Michael Strunk and Connie Hale.

Friends may call at Crossroad Baptist Church, 5075 Cleveland Ave., Columbus on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 2pm to 5pm.

Funeral service on Monday at the church at 10am with Pastor Paul Gabriel officiating.

Burial to follow at Mifflin Cemetery, Gahanna, OH.
