Gustav Eric Miller

Gus Eric Miller, fondly known as Eric, age 54, passed away at Kettering Green Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 1st, 2026.

Eric was born on September 18th, 1972 and attended Grove City High School.

Eric was currently employed by Xenia Rehab and Nursing Center as a Maintenance Supervisor, a job that he dearly loved along with all his co-workers and residents. Eric also worked as a commercial painter.

Eric's favorite pastime was writing music, singing, and playing his guitar. He was also an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan; and his favorite food was pizza which he could eat everyday, or any home cooked meal he could get alongside his Grandma Evelyn's chocolate cake with fluffy white icing.

Eric is preceded in death by his parents, Gustav and Janice Miller; grandparents, Evelyn and Chester Patrick; sister, Pamela Sue Powell; as well as many aunts and uncles. He is also preceded in death by his two best friends, Gary Crawford and Todd Cameron.

He is survived by the love of his life, his fiancé, Stella Archey and her children and grandchildren; his own children, Zachary (Nikki) Miller, Aaron (Amanda) Miller, Brittney (Angel) Miller, Kaitlyn Miller, Payton (Brooke) Miller, and Madyson (Cole Pence) Miller; his estranged wife, Keri Pinkerton-White-Miller; the mothers of his children, Cherri Johnson and Angela Reffitt; sisters and brother-in-laws, Joni (Bob) McDonald, Carla (Mike) Daniel, LeAnne (Jeff) Rhonemus, Sandy (Dave) Girdler, and Wanda Jo (Rich) Mellette; grandchildren, Aly, Alayna, Zoey, Amara, Ayden, Claire, Caroline, Braylee, Krew, and Kloey; step-grandchildren, Axel and Alivia; aunt and uncles, Carla Jo Atkinson and Michael (Debbie) Patrick and Steve DeVore; as well as numerous nieces and nephew, cousins and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio (614-539-6166). A funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral chapel at 1:00pm with Pastor Tim Womack officiating.
