Harold Junior Estep

August 31, 1946 — August 30, 2017

In loving memory of Harold J. Estep, age 70, who passed from his earthly home to his Heavenly home on August 30, 2017. He slipped peacefully away into the loving arms of Jesus. His family loved him more than words could ever express but God saw fit to ease his pain and called him home to be with him and his loved ones that had gone on before him. There is no doubt in our minds that they were standing at those gates of pearl to welcome him.
He was born August 31, 1946 to Harold and Virginia (Beatty) Estep, at home in Orient, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, his maternal and paternal Grandparents and his brother Everett (Bud) Estep of Grove City, Ohio. Also preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Cindy Neal of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Linda. They were married 48 beautiful years and were completely devoted to each other. Harold is also survived by his 4 children. Keith (Iris) Estep, Brandi Estep and Jason Estep, all of Grove City, Ohio, and Tiffany (Brian) Kinney of Galloway, Ohio. Survived also by his beloved grandchildren, Maleah Jane (Caleb), Logan, Makenna, Daniel, Kaylee, Clayton, Elliott, Violet and Carson. Also survived by Great Grandson, Cooper, the little light of his life. Survived by brother Jim (Sherry) Estep of Ashville, Ohio and sisters, Norma (Joe) Harbor of Canal Winchester, Ohio, Janet (Robert) Schooley of Commercial Point, Ohio and Shirley (Bob) Sparks of Denver, Colorado. Survived also by special sister-in-law, Brenda Bickenheuser (Ed) of Laurelville, Ohio and brother-in-law, Bill Neal of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma. Many special nieces and nephews, and cousins and one very special Uncle, Junior Beatty and many friends who thought the world of him.

Harold was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served his county from 1966 to 1968 during the Vietnam War era. He was very patriotic and loved his country very much. His family was his life and he was the most generous and giving person you could ever have known. He was also very passionate about the things he believed in and wasn't afraid to stand up and defend those beliefs. He was the type of person that everyone loved from the moment they met him and people just seemed to be drawn to him. He never met a stranger, as they say. He enjoyed the simple things in life. The most important thing to him was knowing his family was taken care of and that they were happy. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He loved Ohio State football and basketball and loved sharing his vast knowledge of sports, especially with his Grandsons. To say he will be missed would be a huge understatement. He will be missed beyond mere words. Heaven has gained another Angel.
