Harold Ritchey

W.Harold Ritchey, 72, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. He was born in Delaware, Ohio to Walter and Josephine Ritchey on December 9, 1943. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Walter Ritchey.

Harold is survived by his sister, Janice Ritchey; brother, Robert (Elsie) Ritchey; cousins, Robert Ohrstedt, Charles (Suzanne) Ohrstedt and William Ohrstedt and special son, Joe Ross. The family would like to say a special thank you to the doctors and chaplain at Mount Carmel East Hospital as well as the paramedics in Whitehall.

Harold retired from Hamilton Tank. After retiring, Harold went on to work as a driver for Ohio Auto Auction until his final retirement. He was a member of the American Legion Post 490 in Whitehall, Ohio. Harold has loved cars since he was a small child and spent most of his life driving or working on them.

A visitation will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 730 Collingwood Avenue, Whitehall, Ohio on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 4 P.M. until 5:30 P.M. A memorial service will follow from 5:30 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
