Harry "Doug" Hoover Jr., 65 of Columbus, passed away at Mt. Carmel West Hospital on November 5, 2014. Born on July 27, 1949 to the late Anna Marie (Zellear) and Harry D. Hoover Sr., in Columbus, OH. Harry served his country during the Vietnam War. Proud truck driver for Fleming Foods and competed in two semi rodeo's. Survived wife of 44 years Deborah (Mitchell) Hoover, children Melissa (Ray) Wallace, Brian (Melanie) Hoover and Renee Hoover, 10 grandchildren, siblings Sandy (Virgil) Hoover, Kathy Stevens, James (Rhonda) Hoover, Robert (Brenda) Hoover, best friends Howard Wheeler and Harry G. Hoover.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 10am until time of memorial service at 1pm with Pastor Tim Womack officiating.
Military honors to start at 1pm.
