Harvey Raymond Ryles
November 8, 1936 — April 9, 2015
Harvey Raymond Ryles, 78, of Commercial Point, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2015 at the Woodlands at Eastland.
He was born November 8, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Raymond "Steth" Ryles and Mary Griffin Barksdale.
In addition to his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Ryles.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Raymond is survived by his brothers, Ronald G. (Rosemary) Ryles and Reuel (Charlotte) Barksdale; sister, Dawnetta (Ronald) Adams; granddaughter, Kristen Gautney and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM.
Interment will be in Dayton National Cemetery.
Raymond was an accomplished jazz musician that is now playing sweet melodies in Heaven.
He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have met him.
