OBITUARY
Hazel M. Jenkins, 89, of Columbus, Ohio, left her earthly home in the early morning hours on October 23, 2014, surrounded by her family at Wexner Heritage Village. She was welcomed into her heavenly home by those who preceded her in death, husband William A. Jenkins, parents John and Adeline Tomlinson, seven brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her children Lemuel (L.A.) Jenkins, Pamela Harris, Elnora (Raymond) Jenkins-Christie, all of Columbus, OH and Debra (Nate) Phillips, Naples, FL; nine grandchildren Paul (Robin), Lydia, Brian (Brittany), LaToya, Veronica (Mike), DaNetra (Bryan), Anthony, Shayla and Kayla; 13 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grandchildren, adopted daughters, God-children and friends.
The family will receive friends 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday, October 31 at Bethany Baptist Church, 959 Bulen Avenue, immediately followed by the home going celebration officiated by Rev. Jonathan Bradford.
Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery.
