Helen F. Finn

Helen F. Finn (nee Gorski), born on November 29, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025 in Columbus. A woman of deep faith and compassion, Helen lived a life of service as a teacher, a mother and grandmother, and a champion of social justice causes.

Helen cherished her family, including her daughter Maggie (Carl) O’Brien, grandchildren Declan O’Brien and Eileen O’Brien, sisters Shirley Stiles and Geraldine Page (both deceased), and many nieces, nephew, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on July 26, 2025 from 3 to 5 pm at Newcomer Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43231, followed by a service at 5pm. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ACLU, or to Zusman Hospice at 1151 College Ave, Columbus, OH 43209.
