Helen L. "Sis" Hopkins, 93, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in Columbus, OH. She was born on April 9, 1922 in Columbus to Arthur and Ruth Scase.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years Roy Hopkins; and siblings, Bill Scase, Arthur Scase Jr., and Donna Johnston.
She is survived by son, Roy (Carol) Hopkins Jr.; grandchildren, Amy (Bryan) Smals, Brenda (Joe) Grace, and Brian (Tabatha) Hopkins; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth (Bill) Goldsbury; and many other loving family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 followed by funeral services at 10:30am. She will be laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery. Please leave a message of condolence for the family during this difficult time.
