Helen Fay Spaulding

Helen Fay Spaulding, 81, of Grove City, passed away on April 9, 2026, at home. She was born December 13, 1944 in Martin County, Kentucky to the late Trinel and Gladys (Workman) Chaffin. She married William I. “Buck” Spaulding on January 27, 1963, and he preceded her in death on October 10, 2004.

Those left to cherish memories of Helen include daughter, Terry (Rodney) Flanery; son, Buck (Celenia) Spaulding; grandchildren, Derek (Abby), Erika, Ashley (Chris), Ryan (Beth), and Chelsea (Cody); great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Tucker, Grayson, Connor, Logan, Brayden, Wyatt, Trace, Rowan, and Myra; siblings, Gloria, Mary, Sharon, Diane, Howard, and Eddy; and many other family members and friends.

Along with her loving husband of 41 years, and her parents; Helen was preceded in death by one grandchild, Kyle Flanery; and one great-grandchild, Emelia Spaulding; and twelve siblings.

Helen attended Connection Pointe Church of God, where she was a faithful member for 30+ years. She loved her savior, Jesus Christ; she also believed in worship and paying tithes. She worked and retired from Franklin International in Columbus. In all her years of employment, she had perfect attendance; short of one single day she called off. Helen was a person of her word and commitment, her greatest commitment was to her family, who she loved deeply and was never too busy or tired to share her time with in life. She is truly going to be missed and never forgotten.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 10:30am-12:30pm, Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Connection Pointe Church of God, 4325 Harrisburg Pike, Grove City, Ohio 43123. A service to honor Helen’s life will begin at 12:30pm, Wednesday, April 15, 2026; at Connection Pointe Church of God. Services officiated by Pastor Randy Barr. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad Street, Galloway, Ohio 43119.
