Helen I. Stickles

Helen I. Stickles, age 86, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on January 18, 2026. Helen was born on January 21, 1939 in Wayne, West Virginia to the late George and Laura Holland.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Stickles Sr. and many siblings.

She is lovingly survived by her children, David (Ngan) Stickles, Sheri Ketaneh, Richard (Letisha) Stickles Jr, grandchildren, Heather, Brett, Cory, Britnee, Veronica, Auburn, great-grandchildren, Jose, Jayden, Damien, Skyler, Rosalyn, Myah, Rowan, Reese, Macie, Kaiser, multiple siblings, special dog, Bella, and many extended family and friends.

Helen loved gardening and canning her food. She spent her time watching soap operas and drinking Diet Coke. She enjoyed cookouts and spending time with her family.

She will be deeply missed.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Newcomer SW Chapel, from 5pm - 8pm for Calling Hours. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 10am. Burial to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
