Herman H. Bishop

Herman H. Bishop, 92, of Westerville, passed from this life, into Glory with his family by his side on December 19, 2016.
He was born on November 13, 1924 to the late Herman and Stella (Harper) Bishop in Eldorado, IL.
Herman served proudly in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Westerville, where he loved singing in the choir.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty (Baker) Bishop; children Dianne (Gary) Hysell, Larry (Cindy) Bishop and David Bishop; grandchildren Drew (Sarah) Hysell, Lauren Hysell, Daniel Bishop, Liana Bishop, Rachael Bishop and Kyle Bishop.
He is preceded in death by 3 sisters Virginia, Audrey, and Alice.
Friends may call at First Baptist Church of Westerville, 104 S. Spring Rd, Westerville, OH 43081 on Saturday, December 24, from 9:00 - 9:45am, with a memorial service beginning at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The First Baptist Church of Westerville Building Fund.
