Herman James Kroninger Sr.

Herman James "Pops" Kroninger Sr., 74, of Etna, Ohio, passed away September 9, 2020.
He was born on February 21, 1946 to the late Herbert and Pauline (Cook) Kroninger.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Frank Kroninger.
Surviving family includes by children; Herman (Susan), Steve (Angel), Lauri (Jason); lifelong love, Sherry; grandchildren, Evan, Brooke, Zoe, Jace, Cade, Beck, Bram; siblings, Herb (Sally), Mike (Janie), Theresia (Fred), Donald (Linda); as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Herman proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Herman was an outdoors man, who loved fishing, car shows, and retreating to Brownsville, Texas every winter.
He was full of character and never met a stranger.
Herman had a passion for "wheeling and dealing" and he would not hesitate to give everyone a hard time.
Visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in procession to Blue Church Cemetery.
