Herman D. Welch, 83 of Commercial Point, Ohio passed away at his residence on August 28, 2014. Born on January 22, 1931 to the late Dana and Alice (Haning) Welch in Meigs County, Ohio. Survived by wife of 63 years Margaret (Lambert) Welch, daughters Cathy (Rick) Barton, Cheryl Simpkins and Carol (Bill) Weber, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, siblings Anasteen Butler, Gary and Ronnie Welch, also his felines Buddy and Molly. Preceded in death by granddaughter Amy Simpkins, brother Everett Welch and sister Evelyn Brickles. Special friend Brenda Clifton, with Mt. Carmel Hospice.

Funeral service on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 11am with Pastor Ty Myers officiating.
Burial to follow at Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield, Ohio.
