Hetty Cecil, 81, of Columbus, passed away December 24, 2018.
Hetty was born March 23, 1937 to Joseph and Mary (Costigan) Klobas.
She was a member of High Street Baptist Church. Hetty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and life-long friend to so many. She had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. She welcomed all with arms wide open. She was friends to many at Northland Community Place.
She was married to Franklin Cecil Sr. for 49 years.
Hetty will be deeply missed by her; daughters Elizabeth (Mike) Cornell, Diane (Rick) Atwell, Karen Hamilton, Cheryl (Kipp) Cecil; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers Joseph Klobas Jr., Monroe Tipton, sister Margaret Moneyhunn, Audrey Austin along with many other family and friends.
Hetty was preceded in death by her husband, children, Franklin, Thomas, Cathy and sisters Betty and Geneva.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 4pm to 6pm at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus.
Memorial services will follow at 6pm at the funeral home.
