Horace Winton, 83, passed away on July 20, 2014 in Columbus, OH. He was born on May 27, 1931 in Columbus, OH to William and Inez (Griffin) Winton.
Horace is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herbert and Kenneth Winton; step-daughter, Micheale Richardson; and step-son, Najee Nasir.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Idastean Winton; grandchildren, Morgan Richardson and Tiffany Richardson; siblings, Willa (Clarence) Lumpkins, Bobbie Hunt, Joann Evans, Louise Anderson, Theodore Winton, John Winton, Harold Winton, Richard Winton, and Howard Winton; a host of nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 10:00am – 11:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231 followed by funeral services at 11:00am.
