Irene Barkie, 72, passed away on November 20, 2017. She was born on August 5, 1945.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Julia Barkie, brother, Andy Barkie, sister, Velma Barkie, partner, Ed Hartman.
Surviving family includes sister, Rose (Douglas) McCutcheon, sister-in-law, Sue Barkie and many nieces including Sandra (Tom) Dumphy, Julie (Scott) Lesinski, Irena (Duane) McCoy, Kathy (Tom) Morris, Christine (Tom) Jones, nephew, Tim Barkie, great-nephews, Keegan and Hunter Lesinski, cousins, Maryanne (Bob) Hinebaugh, Carol (Miles) Kovach, Jackie Barkie.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
Irene loved animals, her 3 dogs, Buffy, Harley and Bud were like children to her. She liked to play cards and was a great cook.
