Irene Blamer, age 58, of Pataskala, OH passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Blamer; children, Jason (Heather) Bartholow of Ashville, OH, Lisa (Marc) Fleming of Pataskala, OH, Victoria (Jonathan) Ackerman of Pataskala, OH; parents Edward and Shelah Hively of Grove City, OH; grandchildren, Gabriel, Haleigh and Holly Bartholow, Cody and Corey Lane, Landan and Joshua Ackerman; brothers, Mike (Chris) Hively, Rick (Debbie) Hively, Gary (Stefanie) Hively; sister-in-law, Lisa Blamer; brother-in-law, Scott (Susan) Blamer and many other extended family and friends.
Irene was retired from the state of Ohio, Department of Public Safety and a founding member of Fellowship Bible Chapel in Lewis Center, Ohio where she enjoyed serving in the sound technician ministry.
Irene was a devoted wife and mother who taught her kids to love Jesus, live simply and humble and to laugh often.
A visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
