Iris Joan Dobbins, 82, of Gahanna, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her residence.
She was born March 2, 1932 in Chillicothe, daughter of the late Arthur Lee and Rosetta Johnson Cooper.
In addition to her parents, Iris was preceded in death by her husband, Hollie Dobbins; daughter, Vickie Dobbins; sisters, Catherine, Virginia "Bea" and Charlotte "Jean" Cooper, Patricia Scott and Sharon Cunningham; brothers-in-law, Alfred, Bill and Charlie Dobbins; sister-in-law, Ida Martin.
She is survived by her daughter, Robbin (Daniel) Puccio; son, Kevin H. Dobbins; brother, Bernard Cooper; sister, Faye Cooper; brother-in-law, Clinton (Barbara) Dobbins and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, May 2, 2014 from 11:00-12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the prayer and scripture service beginning at 12:00 PM, with Father David E. Gwinner of St. Paul Catholic Church Westerville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Central Region Office-FRAO, 5555 Frantz Rd. Dublin, OH 43017.
