Ivan D. Booth, 99, passed away on April 12, 2026 in Dublin, Ohio.

Ivan was born on January 10, 1927 in Schuyler, Nebraska to the late John T. and Agnes Booth.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bernice (Dubas) Booth, brothers Harold (Billie) Booth, Dale Booth, sisters Leona (Kermit) Beleau and Margaret Ann (David) Morgan and son-in-law, Barry Tomlinson.

Ivan is survived by children, Marilyn (Denis Raihall) Booth, Lenore (David) Bennett, Kathleen (Victor) Yablonski, Janet (Robert) Rabe, Joyce Tomlinson, John Booth, Letitia (Albert Hackman, III) Joy, Timothy (Denise) Booth, Julie Booth, Amy Porteus; 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Ivan was a patriotic World War II Army Veteran and went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from Hasting's College in 1947. He enjoyed his early retirement spending time outdoors and being with his family. He collected tools and built things, including their beloved A-frame home on the Ohio River. He loved learning about his community's history and visiting historical sites.

He will be deeply missed.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 17, 2026 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Church of the Ascension, 555 S. Main St, Johnstown, OH 43031. He will be laid to rest at Greenhill Cemetery in Johnstown immediately after the mass where Military Honors will take place. A luncheon to follow at Church of the Ascension.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church of the Ascension in Ivan's honor.
