Jack "Road Saint Jack" Bookhamer, 63, passed away on June 29, 2014 in Columbus, OH. He was born on October 27, 1950 in Columbus, OH.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, John and Betty (Wolfe) Bookhamer; son, Zack; sister, Connie Leadstrom; and brother, Butch Bova.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Bailey-Bookhamer; children, Jack (Mindi) Bookhamer of Morrow County, OH, Jon Grooms of Columbus, OH, Jessica Bradley of Akron, OH, and Elliott Foster of the residence; sister, Margie (Nick) Neary; brother, Ted (Teresa) Bookhamer; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
Visitation for Jack will be on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 12:00pm at Union Cemetery 3349 Olentangy River Rd. Columbus, OH 43202. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Jack's memory.
