Jack C. Denny

Jack C. Denny, 89, of Centerburg, passed away July 27, 2024, at 3:01pm, surrounded by his family. He was born in Nelsonville, Ohio on March 4, 1935, to the late Dallas Denny and Sue Kelly. He married Rowena Parsley, and she preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish Jack’s memory include five daughters, Laura (Matthew) Olson, Kelly Orwig, Jackie (Bruce) Lunsford, Dianna (David) Iannarino, and Betty Stratton as well as many grandchildren.

Jack served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1956. After honorable discharge, Jack went on to work at Kroger in the bakery department, rising to the supervisor of the bakery department before retiring. When he wasn’t working, Jack enjoyed playing golf and fishing.
