Jack Erwin Whitaker Jr

Jack Erwin Whitaker, Jr., 74, of Dublin, OH and formerly of Cincinnati, OH, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013. Jack was born in Chattanooga, TN on February 26, 1939, to the late Jack E. and Elizabeth (Ford) Whitaker, Sr.
He is survived by a sister, Martha (Lamar) Rankin; niece, Betsy (Harold) Christensen; nephew, Bruce Rankin, Jr; great-nephew, Bruce Rankin III and many friends.
Jack had a long career in the transportation industry. He was Regional Operations Manager for NYK Logistics/GST Corporation in Cincinnati, OH and moved to Dublin, OH and worked for Pacer International.
Jack's family would like to thank special friends, Peggy Doolin and R. Scott and Janis Perry for their many acts of kindness.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Jack's memory to the Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto-Darby Executive Court, Hilliard, OH 43026.
At Jack's request, no services will be held. Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH is honored to assist the Whitaker Family.
