Jack Hane died suddenly March 20, 2018, just like he always wanted to: with no pain and no long illness. He spent his days laying carpet, watching Nascar and LeBron, and making the best Long Islands around. He was an expert of all trades - especially in the creation and maintenance of big bonfires.
On the weekends, you'd find him at the dirt track, showing cars, sitting in his chair with his dog, Sadie, and singing in the church choir. He would be there when anyone needed anything, whether it was an oil change, help moving, or a car to borrow. His home is filled with pictures of his family, which he loved very much. His parents Harold and Marian had many kids, Ronnie (Barb), Judi (Ron), Jack, Linda (Marvin), Lori (Jimmy), Candy, Robin, and Randy. He married Linda and they had 3 children: Anita, Sheila, and Jack (Melissa). Later he married Diana and gained a step-daughter Chrissy (Aaron).
He also raised two grandkids, Chad and Katelynn, and loved being a grandpa to DJ (Jaymee) and Nicky. There are also quite a few nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Hope to see you all at the visitation on Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. in your Nascar gear and then again on Saturday at 10 a.m.
At 11 a.m. Saturday we'll gather to celebrate his life (in more formal terms have a memorial service or funeral), with a free lunch afterwards! All the gatherings will be at Bethel Lutheran Church in Grove City, Ohio.
