Jack L. Mcfann, Sr.
August 1, 1943 — April 2, 2014
Jack L McFann, Sr. passed away at Mt. Carmel West Hospital on April 2, 2014. Born on August 1, 1943 to the late James McFann and Ruby (Tussey) Leo in Columbus, Ohio. Jack was a Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War. He served aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. Member of the American Legion Post 532. Survived by wife of 20 years Saundra (Wharton) McFann, children Jack McFann, Jr. and Kevin (Wendy) McFann, grandchildren Amber McFann and Jack McFann, III, step-daughter Gidget Porter, step-grandchildren Courtney Porter, Taylor Porter, Miranda Wilkins and Maria Wilkins step great grandchild Logan Killian. Preceded in death by siblings James McFann, Jr, and Katherine Mollette.
Calling hours will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 2pm to 5pm.
Funeral service on Monday at the funeral home at 11am with Pastor P.J. Rings officiating.
Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery, Grove City, OH.
