James Ash, born on July 19, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio, was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He graduated from Wright State University with a degree in accounting and earned his CPA certificate. James began his career in public accounting, where he worked for three years before making a significant career change to business ownership. For thirty years, he owned P & W Roofing Supply, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to his work.

James was a proud family man who cherished his time with his loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Donna Ash; sons Derek (Lisa) Ash and Jason (Victoria) Ash; daughter Emily (Denny) Tsakalis; granddaughters Sarah and Claire Ash, and Sophia Tsakalis; and grandson Collin Ash. He had a special bond with his grandchildren, often sharing his passions with them.

Outside of his professional life, James was a horse racing enthusiast and loved fishing. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, creating lasting memories with his family. His vibrant personality and love for life touched everyone around him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at noon on Saturday July 19, 2025, at Discover Christian Church- 2900 Martin Rd Dublin, OH 43017. Everyone is invited to join the family in a time of fellowship after the service.
