James Beesler

James Nelson Beesler, Jr., 73, of Ashville Ohio, went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2015. Jim was born on January 25, 1942 to parents James Nelson Sr. and Virginia (Crabtree) Beesler.

He grew up on Columbus' west side and graduated from West High School in 1960. He was retired from UPS after 38 years in which he was inducted as a member to the company's elite safe driving group "The Circle of Honor". He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Beesler and son, Craig.

He is survived by his parents; brother Michael (Sandy) Beesler; loving wife Hilda (Wears); children Michael (Marianne) Beesler, Susan (Paul) Shaltry, Kristin (Matt) Yerkes, Staci Beesler; grandchildren Lindsey (Brent) Milligen, Christopher Beesler, Max Shaltry, Olivia & Benjamin Yerkes; step-daughter, Sheila (Rick) Lanz and their children Cody (Courtney) Lanz, Trevor (Hannah) Lanz and Beau Lanz. He will be remembered as a loving man of strong faith. He was a longtime member of Orient United Methodist Church.

The family wishes to thank all of the staff and friends at Pickaway Manor Care Center in Circleville Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pickaway Manor Care Center, 391 Clark Drive, Circleville, OH 43113.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Friday, June 5, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A funeral service will begin at 11am, Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the funeral home.
