James Bobo, 78, of Grove City, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Monterey Nursing Home. He was born July 31, 1930, in Athens. James was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Bobo. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Wood Bobo; son, Mitch (Vonda) Bobo; daughters, Cherie Bechtel and Terri Hoshor; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, December 21, 2008 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home S.W. Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be Monday, December 22, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Grove City Cemetery.
