James Morgan Dewees, 73, Westerville, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017. Jimmy was born in Westerville, OH on September 8, 1943, to James W. and Louise (Riffle) Dewees and is preceded in death by his parents and brother, William R. Dewees.
Survivors include his nieces, Danielle (Patrick) Ford and Donita (David) Power; great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexandra Power, Sydney Power, William Ford and Peter Ford; special friend, Rose.
Jimmy worked for Goodwill for 16 years and enjoyed all activities and outings that were hosted by Goodwill.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, July 10, 2017, 10-11 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH with a Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Goodwill Industries at http://goodwillcolumbus.org/donate or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Central Ohio Chapter, 2225 City Gate Drive, Suite E, Columbus, OH 43219.
