James E. Coates, 73, of Columbus, OH, passed away June 25, 2014. He was born in Huntington, WV on September 18, 1940.
He retired from Columbia Gas Co. after 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Flora Coates, sister, Geraldine.
Surviving family includes children, Terri, David, Kathy, grandchildren, Travis, Tabitha, brother, William and significant other, Bev Nicol.
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Monday, June 30, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A funeral service will be held at 11am, Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the funeral home.Burial will follow in Alton Cemetery.
