James E. Gearheart

James E. Gearheart, 66, Columbus, went to be with his wife and soul mate on Monday, January 26, 2015. Jimmy was born in Bluefield, WV on January 30, 1948, to Frank and Hazel Gearheart and is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Catherine (Brisbane) Gearheart; daughter, Jamie Gearheart; brother, Clarence Gearheart; sister, Chris Gearheart.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Jenny (John) Guroy; sons, James Jr, Joshua, Justin, Jamison; granddaughters, Madilyn ,Allison and Peyton; sisters, Judy Legros and Donna (Bill) Tall; brothers, Robert (Sharon), Homer (Paulette), Wayne (Brenda), Brad (Rhonda) Brian, Kenny (Carol) Gearheart.; mother-in-law, Rena Brisbane; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Jimmy was retired from the City of Columbus Division of Water and served in the US Army. Family and close friends will gather on Thursday, January 29, 2015 1-2 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Memorial Service at 2:00 PM.
