James T. Hitchcock, age 53, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018. He was born on February 4, 1965 in Columbus, OH.
Jimmy was an avid stock car racing fan and loved his children and grandchildren.
Surviving family includes mother, Mary Loucks; daughter, Hayley Hitchcock; brothers, Ronald (Sheila) Hitchcock and Michael Hitchcock; sister, Phyllis (Chris) Sparks; nieces, Sherry Brown, Wanda Casey, Julie Pierce, Tawana Hopper, Chrissy Boswell and Jennifer Yousef; nephews, Ronald Hitchcock and Jonathan Hitchcock; extended family, Jessica, Madison and Violet Adkins, Jordan and Mariah Adkins, and Jeannie Holsinger.
Preceded in death by father, Thurman Hitchcock; sisters, Diana Taynor and Brenda Burke (Carol Hitchcock); nieces, Julie O'Connor and Marianne Smith; step-father, Reginal Loucks.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway, with Pastor Paul Bugett officiation. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon.
Interment to follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH.
