James L. Dowell, 63, passed away December 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Dorothy Dowell; wife, Cheri Dowell; brothers, John Jr., Jerry, Howard and Gene; sister, Doris.
James is survived by son, J.L. (Tracey) Dowell Jr.; daughter, Julie Dowell; grandchildren, Amanda (Zach) Young, Amber Dowell, E.J. Spaulding and Mason Spaulding; nephews, J.R. Dowell, Josh Dowell, Little John (Audria) Dowell III and Benjamin Hendershot; special cousin, Roxanne Dryer; as well as other family and friends.
Visitation Friday, December 20, 2013 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 10 am with visitation one hour prior at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Cheri Dowell to the American Cancer Society, Central Region Office - FRAO, 5555 Frantz Rd., Dublin, OH 43017.
