James J. Mathews, age 77, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016. He was born in Columbus to the late James and Josephine Mathews on March 22, 1939.
He is preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn. He is survived by his children, James J. Mathews II, Che Mathews and De-Anna Mathews; grandchildren, Julie Brown, Brian Mathews, Mary Jo Mathews, Angelic Ingersoll and Mariah Kielmeyer; sister, Sylvia Kelly; ex-wife, Sharon Mathews; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, S.W. 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
