James Wesley Melton

James Wesley Melton, 36, passed away May 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by grandparents, William and Loretta Beamenderfer; uncle, John Beamenderfer; and aunt, Barbara Palmer.
James is survived by father, Paul E. Melton, Jr.; mother, Linda (Dogan) Turkoglu; grandparents, Mary Melton and Paul (Martha) Melton, Sr.; son, Donavan James Hawk; step-mother, Kelly Cole; siblings, Mindy (Brian) Parrish and Jason Melton; step-sisters, Theresa Glover and Abby Cole; niece, Alexis Parrish; nephew, Malakai Melton; aunts, uncles, and cousins. James enjoyed going to Schiller Park for serenity.
As a child he loved animals, bowling, video games, camping, and chess. Most importantly, he loved being with his family. James will be sadly missed.
Memorial Gathering Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 5pm until the time of Memorial Service at 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Private burial will take place at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Newcomer Funeral Home to assist the family during this difficult time.
