James V. Perry
November 23, 1951 — August 15, 2017
James Virgel Perry, 65, of Galloway, passed away Tues., Aug. 15, 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Preceded in death by his parents, James W. and Ruth E. Perry, as well as his brother, Kenneth Perry.
James is survived by loving wife of 44 years, Karen; children, Anthony, Nicholas (Stacey), Angela (Jason); as well as three grandchildren, Dominick, Ryan, and Trevor; siblings, Marilyn Estep and Jack Perry; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
James was raised in West Jefferson, OH. He graduated from Pleasant View High School in 1970. James retired from The Ohio State University Physical Facilities Department in November of 2013.
A special thank you to the friends, family, and staff at Heartland Hospice who helped with around the clock care needed towards the end.
Visitation Wed., Aug. 23, 2017 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Thurs., Aug. 24, 2017 at 10am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
