James Richard Brusk
July 15, 1939 — May 2, 2013
James Richard "The Barber" Brusk, 73, passed away May 2, 2013.
He was preceded in death by parents, Anthony Paul Brusk and Vera Gertrude Evans; aunt, June Ellen Farquhar; and uncles, Eugene Penry Farquhar and James Bowshier.
Richard is survived by wife, Emma Jo; children, Danny (Renee) Brusk and Shelley (Brad) Acree; grandchildren, Brandon and Spencer Brusk and Emalee and Evan Acree; sister, Judith Irene Wright; half-brother, Johnny Evans; as well as other family and friends.
United States Navy Veteran; member of Moose Lodge in Hilliard, where he enjoyed dancing; barbered in Grove City for nearly 30 years; in his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and card shooting. He loved his family above all.
Visitation Monday, May 6, 2013 from 4 pm until the time of Memorial Service at 6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to Kobacker House c/o OhioHealth Foundation, 180 E. Broad St., FL 32, Columbus, OH 43215-9480.
