James Risley

James Ray Risley 46, passed away on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio. JR was born on July 19th, 1979, in Columbus, Ohio, to Francis Risley and Theresa Pack.

JR was a very outgoing, funny, and creative person who could be very stubborn and had a flair for the dramatic. He loved his arts and crafts, going to the casino, and motorcycles. But what he loved and was proud of the most was being a grandfather.

JR was survived by Mother & Father, Theresa (Mike) Pack, and Brother Mark ( Lauren ) Bartlett. He had 7 children: Nathaniel ( Jazmin ) Risley, Mycala Reed, Skylynn Risley, Jasmine Forkner, Anthony Risley, Cashis Risley, and Marcus Risley. His
6 Grandchildren: Airi, Bentley, Paisley, James, Elliemae, Theo, and many other Family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Newcomers Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio. A celebration of life
Will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 at the same location for all of those who would like to share any memories.
