James David Ryckman

James Ryckman, 84, of Westerville, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017. James was born July 4, 1933 to the late David and Grace (Martin) Ryckman.
He was married to Sally (Flynn) for 61 years.
James will be deeply missed by his wife; children J. David Ryckman, Anthony (Cindy) Ryckman, Kathleen (Steve) Hipes, Sean (Trica) Ryckman; grandchildren Kyla, Alyssa, Madde, Lauren, Daniel; brother John (Kathlyn) Ryckman; sisters Gracie (Cecil) Curry and Agnes (Gary) Guinotte.
Along with his parents, James was preceded in death by his son John Patrick and sister Genny Lane.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 20, 2017, from 6p.m. to 8p.m. with a prayer service to follow at Newcomer Funeral Home North 3047 E. Dublin Granville Road.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 21, 2017, at 10:30a.m. at Church of the Resurrection 6300 E. Dublin Granville Road, New Albany, OH 43054 with Father Jerry Rodenfels officiating.
Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery Lewis Center, OH, where military rites will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice 1144 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.
