James D. Vest, age 81 of Columbus, passed away on November 6, 2024. He was born on October 26, 1943 to the late David and Frances (Martin) McGarvey in Columbus, OH. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Patricia Hall, nephew Mark Hall and brother Robert McGarvey. James is survived by ex-wife Judith Vest and step daughter Debra Fuller.
Retired from Capital Fire Company and member of the Sprinkler Fitters Union 669.
Per James request a cremation will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home.
