James E. "Jim" Watson, 73, of Lancaster passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at his residence.
He was born February 17, 1945 in Columbus, son of the late Virgil Watson, Frances Fink and Bertha Mae Balling.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Conley Watson and brothers, Ricky and Ronald Wells.
He was a retired truck driver, firefighter for Clinton Twp. Badge #56 and also a Master Genealogist. Jim is survived by his daughter, Kim (Adam) Jordan; sons, Jefferey and William Watson; partner and best friend, Charlene Berstler; grandchildren, Josh and Corey Lighty, Joe Dee, Faith, Grant, Mason and Gracie Jordan, Savannah Bell; sisters, Judy, Mary, Karen, Kim and Brenda; brothers, Mike, Jim and Gary.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
