James P. White Sr. "Jim", age 71, passed away on January 30, 2018. He was born November 8, 1946 in Columbus, OH.
Preceded in death by parents Verl and Helen White; sister Joyce Ann Clanin; niece Rebecca White.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, of 46 years, Young; children Jennifer (James) Overley, James (Amy) White Jr., and Jeffrey (Val) White; 12 grandchildren; beloved companion Maggie; 3 Brothers; 1 sister; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Jim proudly served our country in the U.S. Army stationed in South Korea. Later he served as a recruiter in Northwest Ohio.
Jim was an avid runner, and was an enthusiastic OSU fan. He was very passionate about politics, and playing chess with people all over the world. More than anything Jim loved his family and enjoyed having everyone together. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be Monday, February 5, 2018 at Newcomer, Grove City, starting at 4pm until time of service at 6pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jim's memory to Disabled American Veterans, www.DAV.org, or vote Trump 2020.
