Jane A. Elkins

Jane A. Elkins, 87, passed away on October 16, 2026.

She was born on February 6, 1939 in Closplint, Kentucky.

Jane was employed by Simmons Mattress Company for 30 years. She loved working at the church as a choir director and a Sunday school teacher and working with the youth group. Jane loved spending time with her family and grandchildren that she cherished. 

She was preceded in death by her spouse of 63 years, Robert Elkins, daughter, Edna Ewing, father, Handy W. Money, mother, Willie Edna Money (Graham), sister, Barbara Smith, brother, Herman Money.

Surviving family includes children, Diana (Christopher) Ray, Pamela (Victor) Hibbs, Tammy (Jeff) Hacker, grandchildren, Debra, Christina, Ronda, Brittany, Sue Ann, Bobbi, Victor, Aaron, Austin, Hailey, Jordann, several great-grandchildren, brothers, Don Money, John Money and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Gentiva Hospice Care Team, especially Taylor. Thank you for helping keep Mom comfortable.
