Our beloved mother, Jane Spung, age 90, went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, January 26, 2019. She was born on September 18, 1928 in Columbus, OH.
Jane was a remarkable woman, educator, principal and school board member for South Western City Schools.
Surviving family includes daughters, Gini (Randy) Trexler and Marilyn (Newton) Crabbe; grandchildren, Chris Trexler, Scott Smith, Andy (Shannon) Trexler, Ryan (Megan) Edwards, Kaylee (Dr. Trevor) Mock and 7 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Donald Spung.
Memorial service will be held Monday, February 4, 2019 at 7PM, with visitation starting at 6PM at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Rd, Grove City, OH 43123 officiated by Pastor Phil Amburgey and Pastor Owen Stotts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jane's name to The Salvation Army by visiting https://co.salvationarmy.org/
