Janel Mead, 67, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026, in New Albany, Ohio. Janel was born on September 18, 1959, in California.

Janel is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by husband, Lawrence Mead, siblings, Jim Jacobs, John Jacobs and Anatoria Van Zuthem.

She was a retired police office of 30 years at the Columbus Police Department.
