Janessa S. Banks, 23 months, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Janessa was a true fighter.
She was born in Columbus, OH on July 22, 2011, to Tony M. Banks and Crystal M. Lugo and is preceded in death by a brother, Tony M. Banks, Jr.
Survivors include her parents; sister, Iyana Banks; maternal grandparents, Lisa Hatfield and Adam Lugo; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Banks; great-grandparents, God-mothers and God-fathers, aunts, uncles, cousins, her "doggies" and many, many supporters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with a Graveside Service to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N High Street, Lewis Center, OH.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
